0002008: Concurrent downloads bug

1. Set Concurrent downloads to 10
2. Batch added and tried to start 11 download tasks at the same time
3. Only 10 tasks started which is expected
4. During the 10 tasks downloading (none was finished), set Concurrent downloads to 15
5. The 11th task did not automatically start which is not expected
6. Manually tried to start the 11th task, either by clicking Start or Start All, it did not start which is still not expected

0002006: When there are too many records, selecting either Clear or Open Manager will inevitably result in an Out of memory error

When I have around 500 downloaded records, selecting either Clear or Open Manager will always cause an Out of memory error.
Although reinstalling the package can be used to clear the records, it’s not very convenient, and this issue has occurred multiple times.
I hope this can be fixed.

Thank you for developing this extension.

Request: Could you add a feature in the Rule System that allows Chrono to completely skip/ignore a download if a condition is true?

Reason: I want to use a specialized download tool for specific sites while using Chrono for everything else. Currently, Chrono interferes by capturing these downloads and saving them to the default folder.

I understand Chrome API priorities can be complex, but allowing users to define an "Ignore" rule for specific domains would solve conflicts with other extensions.

If this function already exists, please advise.

When using One-Click download option it then ignores the rules stated under network for the number of downloads per server. This issue is definitely a major issue as on many servers downloading more than the rule can get you banned!

frequently without the extension easynews downloads fail. from chromium I can resume the file.

when i click play in the extension it does NOT resume. it starts over which is annoying for 10gig file.

It would be helpful if the rule system could add a feature to export and import existing rules (for example, by editing the content in an external .csv document and then importing it). This would make things more convenient.

On huggingface and civitai when you are downloading 6-40gb files every single time you "Save Link as" it starts the file download immediately even if you have selected the "Add Paused" flag. If you choose the drop down option of "add as paused" it doesn't give you the option to save the file in a specific location on civitai as it's a dynamic link so it doesn't properly pull that information and you need to save those files, you just get the file id in the queue vs the proper filename... but then you've got ten 23gb files downloading simultaneously.

Really need dark theme very much. The brightness is too much. This is such an easy and expected function. Every app has this option. You have the little image in the bottom left corner but all it does is make the screen grey and not dark. Such a good app but ill be unable to use this without the dark ability. i only use in dark room and this app kills my eyes. Sorry but i also replied to other message with this thinking i was helping but it seems these are all unanswered. Is this a moderated page or just for users to talk among themselves? Oh well could have been a good app to use.

(running 0.9.3) Quick feature request! I don't know if this is possible with regards to Chrome policies, but:

When clicking on a notification showing a finished download,
can Chrono open the file directly? It would save a step of opening files, and more importantly, save time in general. Loving your product and its' many uses, but sometime i just want it to work in the background :)

Right now i can only tweak settings to get a click to open the manager or dismiss that or all notifications.

0001992: Manager Has Shaded Gray Over It

Since today, when I access the manager either as standalone pop-up or in the browser, there is a shaded gray screen covering it which locks the manager or prevents me from using the manager. The gray screen appears after the popup notification regarding cookies (which also first appeared today), and sometimes this notification does not show up but the shading locking manager does. Clicking "read more" "accept" or "show more details" for this Cookie Notification has no effect on the gray shading. Turning the extension off and then on again did not resolve issue. I tried re-installing the extension and during the first use the problem disappeared but when I reopened the manager the problem reappeared again and has not resolved itself.

The dark theme is sorely missed. Especially at night, I try not to open the tab with your plugin so as not to burn my eyes and wake up my family and neighbors.

1. When editing a rule, pressing the "←/→" keys moves the focus to the previous/next cell, not the cursor.
2. Existing rules being edited are not saved.
3. The referenced custom "Extension Filter" in "Rule System" is not respected.

Downloads from PHPMYADMIN on localhost download an index.htm. If I disable the extension it works.

I don't remember this happening a few versions ago...

Often the name of the downloaded file is too long, and therefore the "Filename" column in the CDM screen is unable to show the full name.

The only way to see the full name is to drag the right-hand side border of this column to widen it.

But this disturbs the entire table. The user has to adjust the width of all columns all over again.

Instead of this tedious method, it would be great to have tooltips.
If the user hovers his mouse on any task, the tooltip should show the details.

It's pretty standard to have tool tips show up under buttons that tell you what the button does. The Chrono buttons along the top are just icons and he icons don't tell you enough about what they do, which is needed for new users. When I hover over any of the buttons there, no tool tip to show me the textual name of the action. This would be very helpful to have.

The CDM screen shows a toolbar at the top. while the downloads are ongoing, some of these buttons are active (not grayed out).
The purpose of such buttons is not clear.

For example, when all downloads are already running, the double green triangle button ("play all"?) is active. What is this button supposed to achieve??

There is no help or user guide to explain the function of the toolbar buttons.

Suggested solution:
1. Please provide help text to explain the function of each button.
2. Please provide a tooltip on each button that explains what it will do.
