Summary | 0001848: Filenames with embedded "/" characters (%2F) cause subfolders to be created
Description | Consider the following URL to a ZIP file: https://waeshop-space.nyc3.digitaloceanspaces.com/Plugins%2FWA_Production%2FInstaChord%2FPacks%2FWAProd_InstaChord_1.1.0_b3_Full.zip When I download from this URL using Chrome's native download feature, I get a file in my Downloads folder named: Plugins%2FWA_Production%2FInstaChord%2FPacks%2FWAProd_InstaChord_1.1.0_b3_Full.zip This is correct behavior. On the other hand, when I download the same file using Chrono Download Manager, I get a set of subfolders created under my Downloads folder, and the file is placed in the lowest subfolder: Downloads Plugins WA_Production InstaChord Packs Prod_InstaChord_1.1.0_b3_Full.zip This is incorrect behavior. Chrono Download Manager seems to be getting "tricked" by the "/" characters (encoded as %2F in the filename) into creating folders when it should not. Please note that you will not be able to download from the URL given above - this is from a private shopping cart. But you can easily reproduce the bug using any file with embedded %2F characters as shown here.
