|0001907||Chrono Download Manager||Bug||public||2021-01-09 08:07||2021-01-10 04:50|
|Summary||0001907: Since the 0.11.0 update all media file types download as .txt files from any site|
|Description||I know this is strange but I didn't change or touch anything, it just started when it auto-updated.|
Since it auto-updated whenever I download any media file in any format or file ext' whether it be a picture or audio it downloads a .txt file instead with a few hundred lines of random code/nonsense. Jpg, png, mp3, avi, mp4, gif... it doesn't matter, everything downloads as a .txt file. And it does this on my PC and laptop, including when I'm not at home and using different WIFI.
If I disable Chrono everything downloads fine and normally, if I reenable it everything downloads as a .txt file. I've tried disabling all other extensions, I've tried un/reinstalling the extension, and I've just tried a fresh install of Chrome... but it's still bugged.
Any help or advice is welcome, I've looked through the settings 10 times and can't see anything. It's really weird.
|Steps To Reproduce||Just download something on my PC or laptop.|

I just tried renaming the downloaded .txt files to what I think they should be, so for instance: I downloaded an .mp3 but Chrono downloads a .txt, I changed the ext' from .txt to .mp3 and it did actually work and plays, same with image files. So, the massive million lines of code that are included in these .txt files are not random nonsense, it's just Chrono for some bizarre reason is changing almost everything into a .txt file.
