Summary | 0001940: Chrono Downloading ICS files as TXT files
Description | An online shopping site I frequent has a "Remind Me" feature which when clicked downloads an ICS file for a reminder to be set in Outlook. Example: https://i.imgur.com/VxZGUkG.jpg URL: https://shopee.com.my/m/free-shipping-deals (You don't have to be a registered user. Just scroll down until you see the red "Remind Me" to test / try downlading the ICS file) With Microsoft Edge and Chrono Download Manager (CDM), the ICS file is downloaded properly as an .ICS file. But, on Chrome with CDM (One Click Download), it always downloads the ICS file as a .TXT file. If CDM is disabled and I just use Chrome to download, then it downloads properly as an .ICS file. This happens on both my desktop PC and my laptop that are running the latest x64 Windows 10 and latest Chrome versions. It's not a big issue but is there something I can do to make Chrome and CDM download ICS files as ICS files? Thanks.
