| Summary | 0001708: error message about Webroot | ||||
| Description | I constantly get the "extension error" notification in Chrome, and when I look, it's always at Chrono Download manager, and it says "This extension failed to name the download "{filename}" because another extension (Webroot Filtering Extension) determined a different filename ""." | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | This seems to happen whenever I save a file that I'm downloading under a different name. However, there is no visible activity from Webroot | ||||
| Tags | No tags attached. | ||||
| Chrome Version | 57.0.2987.133 (64-bit) | ||||
| Looks like both extensions are trying to set filename for a download, I would suggest turning off the other extension to avoid the conflict. | |
|
The other extension is the Webroot Filtering Extension. It *might* be more essential than ChronoDownload. You *might* want to address it, since I can't be the only one with this problem, still, after a year and a half. |
